Bangladeshis talk about rape in madrasa

The incidents of sexual abuse in the madrasas of the Muslim-dominated country have been reported earlier in April, a madrasa headmaster brutally killed her student after sexually assaulting her, and these incidents came to the fore.

Last July, five madrasa teachers were arrested for raping their students, and a 11-year-old orphan was arrested for allegedly killing a dozen boys aged 12 to 19. A madrasa teacher was also arrested for sexually abusing a dozen boys.

Human rights activists say that madrasas are forced to sexually abuse them

Bangladesh Child Rights Forum Head Abdus Shahid, working on children's rights, told AFP, ‘The matter is sensitive as the matter is sensitive It has not been made public for years, and devout Muslims send their children to madrasahs, but they do not talk about these crimes, thinking that it will harm the religious institutions.‘
