Club of Dhaka today.

This report has been prepared based on the reports of events published in various newspapers between January 1 and July 20.

CRAC Members Law and Arbitration Center (ASK) in their report claimed that 90 percent of rape victims in the last five years are children and adolescents.

The growing trend of violence against children across the country has expressed deep concern and urged the government to speed up the process of forming a Directorate of Children and a National Commission for Children to prevent violations of children.

Speaking at the press conference, ASK Executive Director Shipa Hafiza said the Directorate of Children will coordinate the steps taken by various ministries.

Other members of this alliance of 10 members include Save the Children, Action Aid Bangladesh, Terre Des Homes and Bangladesh Shishu Adhikar Forum.

Emphasizing the need to form a separate tribunal to quickly address the issue of rape and abuse of children, the CRAC said that a culture of prolonged justice and justice is the root cause of increasing violence against children.

source:

<a
