Imam Abul Bashar (50) of Noabari Mosque in Comilla, Bangladesh has been detained for two days and repeatedly raped.<\/p>\n

In early April, the police arrested Billal Hossain, a madrasa teacher in Shubpur Wasakia Quranic Madrasa and Orphanage in Buxganj, Comilla, on the charge of raping a 9-year-old girl, and after the class, Billal took out all the madrasa students, took the minor girl to a madrasa room and raped her, the first class student of the rape victim.<\/p>\n
When the girl went home, her mother saw bleeding in her genitals, her parents took her to the Nangalkot Upazila Health Complex in critical condition. When her condition worsened, she was admitted to Comilla Medical College Hospital for better treatment. is done.<\/p>\n
On April 12, Kausar Majumdar raped a ninth grade madrasa student in Nangalkot, Comilla, when she came out of the house to use the toilet outside, when she took her to a nearby building where she raped her. She then left the girl inside the building and ran away, when the girl screamed for help, she was rescued from the building, the rapist was still absconding.<\/p>\n
In February, the headmaster of Ummehani Mahila Madrasa Mohammad Hasan was arrested from the institution for sexual harassment of female students in Muradnagar, Comilla.<\/p>\n
The students of the madrasa told the teachers about the sexual harassment of the head teacher and the teachers called a meeting to solve the problem. On the day of the meeting, the teachers locked the students in a room before the teachers came to the madrasa.<\/p>\n
Locals started protesting and managed to get them out of their homes, as soon as the news of the incident spread, parents and locals got angry and protested in front of the institution, after which the police went to the spot and arrested Hasan.<\/p>\n
The teachers of the madrasa said that the students used to complain against Mohammad of sexual harassment and many of them were later expelled from the institution! In early 2019, Madrasah founder Hasan was sent to jail for sexual harassment of a 10-year-old student and was on bail!<\/p>\n
Bangladeshi aid agencies say most women are afraid to report rape. 26,695 rape cases have been filed, and NGOs helping rape victims say that 1,018 children have been raped in the past year, but only 683 police cases have been filed, including 116 rape victims aged six years or less.<\/p>\n
Last year, 1,627 rape cases were reported and 53 women were killed by rapists and 14 committed suicide. 532 rapes and 139 gang-rapes have occurred. The mullahs are now targeting minors and brutality against them is increasing.<\/p>\n
